Life Groups are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. Considering that the early church worshipped in medium settings in the synagogues as well as in homes, we unite together similarly in order to be in deeper fellowship with God and one-another. God has reconciled us not only to Himself but also to each other. This "each other" is called His Church. Thus, we intentionally strive toward community through men's/women's groups, home gatherings, and other personal settings. We encourage you to come visit on Sunday morning and talk to those in our congregation to learn more about any of the groups below!
This group is so much fun! We eat dinner together, get to know each other, and then jump in! During the Fall and Winter/Spring we meet once every 2 weeks and walk through Scripture and tackle a topical issue relevant to the group or a book of the bible. The food helps to open us up to one another and Scripture encourages us to open our hearts even wider!
Our women's group is such a wonderful group! This phenomenal group consists of both single and married women who are seeking to follow Christ in the midst of busy lives. They have a great mix of wisdom and vibrancy. They love to keep things fresh by changing locations and encouraging others to lead. This creates a great environment for hearts to be shared and to grow closer to one another.
“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
The men's group is all over the map. Not lovers of mediocrity, these guys like to mix real life with an in depth understanding of the bible and God's character. We're not biblical scholars but we are intrigued by the hard questions in life and how (or if) to answer them. We also love food. We eat out a lot.
