Discipleship Groups
Discipleship Groups go even deeper than our Life Groups. Usually no more than 4 people, we grab a bite to eat and challenge each other to live deeper for Christ. Whether it's a specific challenge that needs intense prayer or just a deep desire to study Scripture, these groups take our walk with Christ to the next level and bring an added layer of encouragement from others in the group.
Prayer Group Discipleship
This group is by request only because how would we know that you need prayer if you don't tell us! Because these groups are more personal we structure them in such a way that these are men's and women's groups with the occasional couple's group as needed. This can be one-on-one with a pastor in our church or with one or two others who are fervent in their prayer life. We have seen so many lives changed as we have sought Jesus' direction for our lives through prayer. This type of group requires patience and persistence as we wait on God and not force our own will into the situation we may be praying for. However, it is the most exciting thing in the world when we see God answer our prayers! Talk to a pastor about forming a group to pray for something specific in your life today.
Specific Bible Study Discipleship
This group is different from our Life Groups. These groups are very specific word for word study of Scripture that goes deeper than topical application. In these groups we are looking for what God is saying despite what is going on in our lives. We share our hurts and joys as each verse points out something different in our heart and life. But make no mistake, this group is not a touchy-feely group. It will consist of people who will challenge you and keep up with you to see you move forward to the man or woman that God wants you to be.
