We don't stop gathering for worship just because it's Mardi Gras, we get together in small groups around the city and share the love of Jesus with those around us. Our church is very unique. It is in the center of the parade route and it is almost impossible to get in or out. Each year the way in and the way out changes too! It's like a maze! Instead of fighting it we have heeded God's call to take our services outside of the doors of the church. We gather with our small groups, families, and friends and share the love of Jesus by word and service throughout the city. And yes, we have fun too! We'd love to have you join us!
Sometimes it feels like nothing is working. We can do all the right things and check all the boxes, but life seems to stay the same. How can we find the life we're longing for? If you’re struggling to connect with God, feeling overwhelmed, and wondering how to deal with it all let’s discover A Better Way. We have a large sanctuary and plenty of room to be physically distant but socially present! Sundays @ 10:40am.
We have resumed meeting in person on Sundays @ 10:40am!!! We gather in the large sanctuary of Jackson Ave. Church's (same property, big brick building) which will allow us to comply with any phase or criteria advised by authorities. We currently have childcare for babies and toddlers. Please wear face masks while entering, conversing, and exiting the sanctuary. Continue to pray for salvation to be received and Jesus to be seen by our world and our city during this time.
Jesus is central to everything we do at NOCC. We sing, pray, and preach in His powerful Name. Our past, present, and future is centered on Jesus Christ. Our purpose on this earth is to make much of Jesus Christ. If you're new to NOCC, we would love to get to know you better.
